Status of Greenvale Park Elementary School for the 2010-11 School Year

We are providing a copy of the letter and forms sent on August 12, 2010 to all Greenvale Park Elementary parents/guardians concerning the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) status of Greenvale Park for the 2010-11 school year. The letter and forms are provided in English and Spanish and share information about the impact of being identified as a building in “needs improvement” based on the performance of specific subgroups of students and the efforts Greenvale Park is making to support improved achievement for all of our students.

A second letter and form in English and Spanish was sent on November 29, 2010 to all Greenvale Park parents/guardians reiterating both Greenvale Park’s Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) status and Supplemental Educational Services (free tutoring) eligibility for Greenvale Park students who receive Free and Reduced-Price lunch.
