Northfield Public Schools has several available positions on the Community Education Advisory Council. Each appointment is a three-year term, in effect from August 2011 to June 2014. The council is made up of 18 voting members representing a wide range of community interests. The council is especially interested in adding two youth representatives, either in grades 9 or 10. Student terms are one year. The council advises staff in programming, budgeting and departmental development. Adults and older youth from throughout the community are encouraged to apply.
