Registration for fall 2014 classes and events opens on August 15
Lacrosse in Minnesota is growing and has now become a high school sport in Northfield. Register for this great offering and go down in the books as one of the first Northfield program pioneers! The lacrosse program is designed for boys and girls regardless of skill or ability. You will learn basic skills and have scrimmages. Please provide your own equipment and lacrosse sticks – hockey equipment is fine (helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads and gloves for boys; goggles for girls). Mouth guards are required.

The health and safety of all children is very important! Here is your chance to get safety lessons on many topics including Water, Fire, Weather, Biking, First Aid, On-line Safety, Animals, Poisons & Drugs, Personal Boundaries, Electrical, CPR, & more! Community and county professionals will impart their expertise by creatively activating participation with hands on experiences. Participants will see a live K-9 demonstration, participate in a bike rodeo, practice water safety skills at the middle school pool, and much more! Between the learning sessions, there will be exhilarating field games and competitions sure to thrill every camper. Participants should bring a sack lunch. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Pre-registration is required. The camp will conclude on Thursday with a Community Safety Night and celebration of student participation. All community members and parents of participants are encouraged to attend beginning at 5:30 pm.
