Northfield Public Schools Community Services offers a wide variety of recreation programs serving all ages. Whether you’re looking for swimming lessons, youth sports, or adult leagues, Community Services has something for you!

Northfield Ski & Snowboard Club – Afton Alps

Sign up for the Northfield Ski & Snowboard Club! Travel to Welch Village and hit the powder with three bus loads of your peers on Monday evenings throughout the winter months. Whether you like the leisure of skiing down a blue or the challenge of tricking in the terrain park, the Ski & Snowboard Cub offers a great time for anyone who enjoys the thrill of playing in the snow. Are you a new skier or snowboarder or need equipment? Lessons and rentals are available! Informational packets are located in the high school and middle school offices.

New this year there are three Thursday night outings at Afton Alps. Come and check out their new cutting edge terrain park, the newly renovated base area, their powerful state of the art snow making system, and their 300 acres of trails. There is enough terrain to challenge experts to beginners! Afton packets are also available in the high school office. A single bus buy-on and lift ticket can be purchased for $48 at the bus.
