SummerVentures
Make the most out of your student’s summer with extensive hands-on activities, exciting weekly camps and field trips designed to engage all learners. SummerVentures, the KidVentures summer program for kids entering grades one through seven, offers camps, field trips and a variety of registration options. (See brochure below.)
SummerVentures 2013 will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., June through August (Monday through Friday), at Greenvale Park Elementary. The program offers half-day, full-day and drop-in options.

KidVentures
KidVentures is a child-focused, enrichment and care program that incorporates a fun atmosphere with a safe setting where children can explore new interests and make new friends. Students participate in a variety of hands-on activities that build social, emotional, physical and academic skills.
KidVentures utilizes social, life and academic curriculum to help students strengthen skills beyond the traditional classroom. We collaborate with each elementary school to share facilities including the gyms, cafeteria, computer lab and outside play areas. Recent efforts include joining the creative forces of KidVentures and Targeted Services in order to provide an exceptional after-school program. Licensed teachers have joined our staff so that all participants benefit from stronger academic and enrichment components.

KidVentures is offered Monday through Friday at Bridgewater, Greenvale Park and Sibley Elementary from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Enrollment information is available at KidVentures sites, at the NCRC or by calling 507.664.3750.

One-Hour Late Start Wednesday (PLC Option)
For 2012-13, KidVentures will provide programming during one-hour late start Wednesdays for parents/guardians who register and send payment ahead of time. The cost for each one-hour PLC session is $2. The forms available below are for parents/guardians who need to register only for the one-hour option. A form will be sent home each month for parents/guardians to register for the subsequent month’s Wednesdays.

EarlyVentures Learning Center
EarlyVentures Learning Center is a child care center for infants, toddlers and preschoolers licensed by the Department of Human Services. We offer a variety of schedule and fee options and are located, along with Hand in Hand Preschool, at Longfellow School. Call 507.645.1216 to arrange a tour.
