  • 2014 Raider Men’s Alumni Hockey: Game will be held on Friday, Dec 26th. Open to any Alumni hockey player- Graduation year 2003 and earlier 6:45-8:00pm and graduation 2004-2013 will play from 8:15-9:30 pm. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Charge is $20.00.
  • Thank you to the senior families who got your photos and baby ads in by the Friday deadline. The yearbook staff put the pages together Friday night. Please check the bulletin board outside of the yearbook room to see if your photo was able to be placed. If you emailed a photo taken from a web site, or one off of your phone, it may have not been in the correct size. Please also check your names. Many photos were sent saved as “Image” or “Use this One;” if you did not save as your name, there is a greater chance for errors. If you know you sent your photo in this way, please stop and be sure we have your name and spelling correct. Thank you.

Sports

  • The Gators Varsity dropped to 1-2 with a 96-80 loss to Mankato West last night while the JV improved to 3-0 on the season with an 84-79 victory. Jack Cuddy continued dominating the diving event winning the 1 meter diving with a score of 236.95. Next home meet is Tuesday, Dec. 30th vs. Faribault.
  • The Alpine boys beat Rochester by 208 points, finishing 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 overall.
  • The Alpine girls lost to Rochester by 7 points. Skye Sonnega finished 2nd overall.

Sports

  • The Gators Swimming & Diving team won at the Varsity and JV against Owatonna last night at NMS Pool. Led by 6 victories [Skip Varley - 100 back, Alex Battiste - 200 Free, Erik Lundstrom - 500 Free, Andrew Becker - 100 Breast, Jack Cuddy - Diving, and the 200 Medley Relay of Varley, Becker, Lundstrom, Chell] the Gators prevailed 94-84 to improve to 1-1 on the season at the Varsity level. The JV won 10 out of 12 events and won handlily with a 128-24 victory to improve to 2-0 on the season. The Gators host Mankato West on Thursday at 6pm at the Northfield Middle School Pool.

  • Rock & Roll Revival Cast List will be posted after school today on the wall across from the main office. Thank you to all who auditioned. After 18 hours of deliberation and planning, the cast is set at 105 members. Cast members will need to join our schoology course by 5 pm today. All cast meeting will 3:30 be Thursday at the Middle School Auditorium followed by a parent meeting. All information will be posted on Schoology.
