Student News

  • Auditions for Northfield High School’s fall musical, Pippin, will be held Wednesday and Thursday, September 9 and 10, in the high school auditorium. (This is the first week of school.) The music is written by Stephen Schwartz, who also wrote the music for Wicked. Scripts for reading and audition sign-up sheets will be available beginning on Monday, August 31 at the Activities Desk in the high school office. All high school students are invited to audition. Prepare one verse of an up-tempo song and come dressed to dance.
  • On a related note, if you are interested in learning how to do lighting and sound for the musical or future productions please plan on attending a meeting during the first or second week of school.
  • After school snack shop will be closed for the rest of the year
  • 9-11th Graders: The City of Northfield will host up to five local high school students for a week-long career experience program, the Youth Leadership Academy. The program will run from June 22 to 25, 2015. Details were sent to you over Memorial Day weekend via Schoology.
  • Attention Student who are interested in the Spain Trip of Summer 2016. Please remember to register online and deliver your deposit to you Spanish Teacher by June 5th in order to take advantage of the Early Bird discount of $200! Gracias

  • There is 1 yearbook left for purchase if you did not get one! Stop by H120 to buy the last one!
  • The Boy’s and Girl’s Locker rooms will be cleaned out Thursday and Friday of Finals. Any boy or girl who has any items of value still in the Locker room should clean them out this week or by Wednesday, June 3rd. Physical Education classes are collecting locks on Monday of next week and athletes are expected to turn in their red faced locks to Sheryl Docken in the Activities Office. Any locks left on lockers after Wednesday of next week will be taken off and contents put in lost and found.

  • Athletes: Do you want to be a better athlete, have better teams and win more games? If so, come and meet the new weight lifting coach, Len Kallsen, TODAY at 2:50 in the cafeteria and hear about the new era in Raider Strength Training and get summer wt. lifting forms.
  • Football Players: Please attend the football meeting, after school, right after the wt. lifting meeting, to get information on football for this summer and next year. Meeting will be held in H-102.
  • Anyone interested in going out for bowling next fall should come to the informational meeting TODAY after school in the Upper Cafe at the High School
