  • The kitchen is closed after school today.
  • SENIORS: All books/textbooks, iPads, Chargers, etc. must be turned in BEFORE you leave the building TODAY!
  • 9-11th Graders: The City of Northfield will host up to five local high school students for a week-long career experience program, the Youth Leadership Academy. The program will run from June 22 to 25, 2015. Details were sent to you over Memorial Day weekend via Schoology.
  • Attention Student who are interested in the Spain Trip of Summer 2016. Please remember to register online and deliver your deposit to you Spanish Teacher by June 5th in order to take advantage of the Early Bird discount of $200! Gracias
  • Yearbook Staff – please check Schoology for information about our end of the year celebration. RSVP to Mrs. Mucha if you are going to attend.
  • Yearbook Distribution will be Tuesday May 26 – Thursday May 28 in the lower cafe ticket booth during lunches and after school.
  • If you have not ordered a yearbook, online ordering is closed, but you can pick up an order form on the door of H115. Instructions for purchase are on the order form. Only 100 extra books have been ordered, and once they are gone, they are gone!

The Raider Speech Team proudly recognizes the following competitors who earned this award during the 2015 Speech Season: Abigail Andrade-Flores, Brynn Artley, Libby Barth, Audrey Battiste, Jasper Egge, Jonie Erickson, Alaina Falck, Christopher Garlitz, Captain Kathryn Gilbertson, Alex Gunn, Erin Hahn, Captain-Elect Jackson Hillmann, Emily Jacobson, Samuel Jimmy, Sebastian Lawler, Jack Lunderby, Sean Meagher, Anna Millerhagen, Marcus Moad, Becky Mussehl, Amanda Nelson, Courtney Nelson, Thea Pitsavas, Natasha Smith, and Natalie Swanson. You have all certainly earned this recognition for your commitment to excelling at Speech and Academics this season! Congrats from your coaches!
  • Honors Art Final Gallery Show 2015 “Beyond the Fridge” Show Runs from May 20th –June 13th at the Northfield Arts Guild. Please join us at the opening reception on Friday, May 22nd from 7-9 pm to congratulate the 24 Honors Art students on their wonderful work and their accomplishments this semester. Much of the work on display will be for sale and there will be refreshments and entertainment to enjoy. We hope that you are able to visit the final Honors Art gallery show during the time that it is open. The opportunity to produce a professional-level-gallery show at a local art gallery provides a magical ending for these young visual artists!

  • Attention Seniors: advance ticket sales for your lock-in are available through Wednesday, May 27. After that point, students will still be able to purchase tickets at the door, but for the $35 price. Tickets are available in the activities office and include all food, drinks, prizes and activities for the night – don’t miss out on all the fun! The first 150 students to purchase their ticket will get their name in the raffle drawing TWICE!
  • End of the year reminders from Child Nutrition Services:
    1. Please bring your lunch account balances to zero or above before June 1.
    2. All lunch account balances will carry over to next year for returning students or be transferred to a younger sibling for those students who are graduating.
    3. All Seniors who do not have siblings in the district can request a refund by sending an email to Laurie Prior at laurie.prior@nfld.k12.mn.us by June 16th. If you do not request a refund your account balance will transfer into the Angel account lunch fund.

Please join us at the opening reception on Friday, May 22nd from 7-9 pm to congratulate the 24 Honors Art students on their wonderful work and their accomplishments this semester. Much of the work on display will be for sale and there will be refreshments and entertainment to enjoy.
